Thanks for the article. Just 4 days ago I had a conversation on the very topic with a senior android developer. Just to confirm that I understand this correctly, as we are trying to change fragment after onSaveInstanceState() is called, we get the mentioned exception as no fragment transaction can take place between onPause() and onStop(). Also if we don’t make fragment transaction (example: only change text of a TextView), then will this exception be thrown or not?
